Sitting and thinking and humming to myself...

I'm sitting in the railway station,
Got a ticket for my destination...
On a tour of one-night stands my suitcase and guitar in hand
And ev'ry stop is neatly planned for a poet and a one-man band~!

Ho~omeward bound,
I wish I was
Ho~omeward bound!
Home, where my thought's escaping,
Home, where my music's playing,
Home, where my love lies waiting
Silently for me...

Ev'ry day's an endless stream
Of cigarettes and magazines....
And each town looks the same to me, the movies and the factories,
And ev'ry stranger's face I see reminds me that I long to be~

Ho~omeward bound,
I wish I was
Ho~omeward bound!
Home, where my thought's escaping,
Home, where my music's playing,
Home, where my love lies waiting
Silently for me...

Tonight I'll sing my songs again,
I'll play the game and pretend...
But all my words come back to me in shades of mediocrity
Like emptiness in harmony I need someone to comfort me~

Ho~omeward bound,
I wish I was
Ho~omeward bound!
Home, where my thought's escaping,
Home, where my music's playing,
Home, where my love lies waiting
Silently for me...
Silently for me...

I been thinking lately, about, y'know, stuff. Yeah, yeah, I know, it's a dangerous pastime. But what I've been thinking about led to me asking for a copy of Frankenstein. Oh, wait, sorry; it's Frankenstein, or the Modern Prometheus. Whatever.

Anyways, I figure the monster's pretty much like the Nobodies. He's sort of resurrected, but really he's a different person in pretty much the same body - kinda like reincarnation, only backwards. And just 'cause he's missing something, everyone decides he's a monster. Zexion, don't bother to comment on that, I know your objection to my reasoning already, and I still don't agree with it.

And yeah, I still believe Skuld thinking we have hearts. Maybe not physical ones, but I really don't know how much of calling it a "heart" was real in the first place and how much was metaphor. Anyway, we really can still feel emotions. I defy anybody to prove that we don't.
